About Thinqr
Hiring engineers
shouldn't feel like
a trivia game.
Thinqr exists because the technical interview stopped working.
For twenty years, engineering leaders accepted a deal: grind through panel interviews, score against a rubric nobody trusted, and hope the signal held. It sort of worked. Post-hire regret hovered around 30% and everyone pretended that was normal.
Then AI arrived in the middle of the codebase. Every engineer on your team now works with Copilot, Cursor, Claude — and so does every candidate. The old tests, designed to measure raw algorithmic recall, became either irrelevant (if you banned AI) or trivial (if you didn't). The signal collapsed. Most teams still haven't admitted it.
We built Thinqr to replace the broken test with something that actually measures the work: competency-based assessments in real developer workspaces, with AI tools encouraged, with an orchestrator that probes for reasoning, and with rubric evidence you can defend in a debrief or a lawsuit.
We're in closed beta with select engineering teams. If you're tired of hiring by vibes, come see it.
See it on a real interview
20 minutes.
One real scenario.
We'll run a live scenario with you in the actual product and walk through the evidence trail together. No slides, no pitch deck — just the workspace.
